Position Overview
Responsibilities - Forecast purchase requirements by analyzing sales data, stock movement, historical demand, and upcoming sales requirements.
- Prepare purchase orders based on shipment size, budget, stock requirement, and container planning including LCL, 20HQ, 40HQ, and 40FT shipments.
- Ensure product availability at all times and avoid out-of-stock situations through proper stock planning and reorder monitoring.
- Regularly compare physical stock with system stock and coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve stock mismatches.
- Maintain a healthy stock turnover ratio by avoiding overstocking, dead stock, and slow-moving inventory buildup.
- Coordinate daily with local and international vendors for pricing, availability, order status, production timelines, and dispatch schedules.
