Summary About the Position: Directs the many facets and activities of the Seattle District Hydroelectric Power Plant Trainee Program (HPPTP) and is responsible for ensuring quality and quantity of the training. Geographic coverage includes, simultaneously, Chief Joseph Dam, Libby Dam, and Albeni Falls Dam sites, large multi-purpose hydroelectric power plant projects. Responsibilities Serves as the Program Director and Training Coordinator, and as the principal instructor, for the Seattle District Hydroelectric Power Plant Training Program. The Program is a District-wide trades and crafts apprenticeship curriculum combining formal education and on-the-job training leading to journey level capability in the Power Plant Electrician, Mechanic, and Operator series.
