Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the Special Projects (Subs) Branch (Code 105.38) of the Radiological Monitoring Division (C105.3), of the Radiological Control Office (Code 105) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will plan, direct, distribute, and balance workload among subordinate supervisors and assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload. You will prepare justification for requirements exceeding branch resources; evaluating new monitoring equipment and making recommendations for utilization. You will initiate personnel actions such as performance appraisals of personnel directly supervised; reviews evaluations made by supervisors on other employees which includes understanding and evaluating the details of job execution.
