The Substation Tech-Journeyman Lineman is responsible for supervising and directing a crew of substation linemen engaged in above and below-grade electrical work for high-voltage substation EPC projects. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality installation, maintenance, and repairs of substations. Substation Tech-Journeyman Lineman will plan daily work activities, allocate manpower and equipment, and provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and union labor agreements. Acting as the on-site foreman, this position coordinates closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to maintain schedule integrity and resolve field challenges promptly. The Lead Foreman Lineman is accountable for enforcing strict adherence to OSHA and Siemens Energy safety protocols, conducting job hazard analyses, and fostering a culture of safety and productivity within the crew.
