Job Description:

The Vancouver Island Regional Library (VIRL) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Student Page employee to work at our Cowichan Branch.

This temporary position will end on August 31, 2026.

The weekly schedule will be approximately 6 to 8 hours per week.

This position will appeal to high school, home schooled, and university students. Hours may include mornings, after school, evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be an outgoing individual who takes pride in being organized – accurately shelving materials and completing routine library tasks in a timely manner.
