Job Title: Structural Welder

Job Description

This role involves performing structural welding and fitting in a busy shop environment, primarily working with mild structural steel. You will fit and weld drilling products, fuel tanks, skids, ladders, handrails, platforms, and other one-off structural components, including the structure of drilling rigs. The position requires a strong combination of welding and fitting skills, with frequent use of oxy‑fuel cutting torches and adherence to tight fit‑up tolerances of approximately 1/8.

Essential Skills

• Journeyman Welder certification with approximately 5 years of welding experience.
• Proficiency in flux core and metal core welding processes.
• Ability to weld in all positions using flux core and related processes.
• Demonstrated experience working with mild structural steel.
