• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel components using saws, shears, presses, and other machinery
• Assemble structural steel components according to specifications
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, squares, levels) accurately
• Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
• Coordinate with engineers, welders, and supervisors to meet production timelines
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
