Position Overview
Qualification - Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ (up to 8 years’) working experience as Structural Designer in Offshore Oil & Gas fabrication.
- Knowledge in the use of Aveva E3D Structural Modelling. Well-versed in Navisworks.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
Overall Responsibilities - The Structural Designer is responsible for producing accurate structural 2D drawings and 3D model, structural steel detailing and multidisciplinary coordination. Key duties include interpreting engineer sketches, drafting and producing structural and general arrangement drawings in AutoCAD, preparing material take‑offs (MTOs), applying standards, performing self‑checks and revisions, and preparing as‑builts.
