Stormwater and Drainage Engineer

Responsible for the planning, design, and management of stormwater and drainage systems to ensure effective water runoff control, flood prevention, and regulatory compliance in infrastructure and land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stormwater modeling, runoff calculations, and flood risk assessments.
• Design stormwater management systems including culverts, detention/retention basins, swales, storm sewers, and outfall structures.
• Ensure designs meet local, regional, and national stormwater regulations and environmental standards.
• Develop and review erosion control plans for construction sites.
• Coordinate with civil, environmental, and structural teams on drainage solutions for urban, industrial, and transportation projects.
• Support construction and post‑construction inspections; prepare maintenance strategies for stormwater systems.
