**Job Description**

The Clinical Nurse for the Mount Sinai nursing float pool is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients on a variety of assigned units.

**Qualifications**

Education Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Nursing program. Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing. (BSN)

Associate?s Degree in Nursing (ADN) RN who is matriculated in a BSN Program with a graduation date within the year.

Experience Requirements

Relevant clinical competence in area of nursing practice assigned; 2 years of acute care RN experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry Required. 1 year of ICU RN experience preferred

Licensing and Certification Requirements

Licensed as a registered nurse with current registration in New York State

NY Infection Control and Child Abuse Certificate
