Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Coppell, Texas on a Contract basis. This role is well suited for someone who combines strong accounting knowledge with accurate data handling and can work confidently with purchasing and invoice records. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day financial processing, review transactions for accuracy, and help resolve issues when discrepancies arise.


Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices against purchase orders in the ERP and ensure records are matched accurately before billing is completed.

• Maintain timely and precise data entry for accounting transactions while verifying supporting documentation and coding details.

• Prepare and post journal entries to keep financial records complete and aligned with reporting needs.

• Review general ledger activity, identify inconsistencies, and investigate variances or transaction issues as needed.
