Position Overview
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design products with sound engineering principles and mathematical modeling to meet technical and commercial requirements Perform risk analysis on new products. Plan and execute risk mitigation Provide technical assistance to engineers and other departments for new and existing designs Lead technical design reviews and DFMEA Support and participate in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes. Rapid prototype experience a plus Issue technical instructions and engineering specifications Integrate new products/improvements into product configuration program to ensure BOMs are accurate and complete Perform customer visits in conjunction with Product Management to develop product specifications.
