Supply Chain Specialist – Materials Management
Oversee all aspects of purchasing, supplier management, and materials planning to support production schedules and cost objectives for a high‐volume manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute day‐to‐day purchasing activities for domestic and international suppliers, including purchase order issuance and follow‐up.
Manage supplier relationships across categories such as plastic injection, stamping, and metal parts, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance.
Develop, monitor, and report on key purchasing KPIs such as order lag, inventory levels, and on‐time delivery performance.
Lead MRP and ERP (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JD‐Edwards) execution, applying MRP logic to meet demand while controlling inventory and safety stock.
Perform data analysis for inventory discrepancies, cost breakdowns, and continuous improvement initiatives.
