Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a contract opportunity based in California. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accountant who can bring order to incomplete records, strengthen the accuracy of financial reporting, and help prepare the organization for year-end close. The position will work closely with internal staff and make an immediate contribution in a lean environment where strong judgment and independence are essential.

Responsibilities:
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts while addressing a twelve-month backlog of unresolved activity.
• Review and refine general ledger records to improve accuracy, consistency, and overall financial integrity.
• Investigate mismatches, unsupported balances, and other accounting issues, then drive them through resolution.
