Sr. Accountant

A growing organization headquartered in Harford County is looking for an experienced accounting professional ready to take on meaningful work from day one. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for someone who can operate independently and contribute at a senior level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries and maintain balance sheet reconciliations


• Prepare financial statements and performance indicator reports


• Develop and manage budgets


• Prepare monthly sales and use tax payments and returns


• Assist with the annual external review


• Support full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting


• 5+ years of related accounting experience


• Proficiency in Excel
