Job Summary

Responsible for the planning and implementation of Speech-Language Pathology evaluation and treatment services. Evaluates communication disorders and administers therapy treatments for resident/patient problems associated with hearing, speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Maintains records, monitors progress, and counsels residents or patients and their family members.

+ Responsible for administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.

+ Evaluates, assesses, plans, directs and treats all residents or patients referred for speech/language pathology services. Interprets test results in accordance with standard speech/language procedures.
