Role Summary
As a Specialist Therapist the post holder will be responsible for providing specialist assessments and expert equipment advice for Devon residents who visit or contact the Independent Living Centre in order to:
assess the person’s functional needs including people with chronic and complex needs.enable people with complex needs to maximise their physical, emotional, cognitive, social function.anticipate and prevent the effects of health conditions through education and therapeutic intervention in a functional context.provide practical advice and support for families and carers of people with disabilities.identify solutions and appropriate equipment for activities of daily living.
