Role Overview Assist in the maintenance and management of the St. John's Island National Marine Laboratory (SJINML), supporting marine science research by ensuring that the facility is well‑maintained and fully functional.
Duties & Responsibilities - Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Manage facility maintenance agent (MA) for scheduled inspections and repairs of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
- General maintenance of laboratories, aquaria, seawater intake pump room and mechanical room, and safety management.
- Repairs and Renovations: Oversee building maintenance including painting, carpentry, drywall repair and lighting to keep facilities functional.
