Grade 12 plus Master's degree (NQF Level 9) in Pasture/Animal Production specializing in Ruminants as recognised by SAQA. Minimum of 6 years relevant experience within agricultural extension and research. Registration with SACNASP supported by valid certificate. Valid driver’s licence. Competencies: Advanced Computer Skills; Knowledge of Extension Methodology; Knowledge of basic and advanced pasture management/animal production science; Knowledge of relevant National Acts and Guidelines; Training and Facilitation; Good report writing skills; Good verbal and written communication skills; Good research skills; Good interpersonal skills; Planning Skills and Facilitation Skills.
