Specialist Accredited Clinical Coder (Band 6) or Clinical Coder (Band 5). £49,948 - £59,065 pa for Band 6 and £40,150 - £48,804 pa for Band 5, inclusive of 10% RRP.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Accurately code day‑to‑day diagnoses and procedures using ICD10 and OPCS4 classifications.
• Meet strict deadlines and ensure coded data meets the highest quality standards.
• For Band 6: manage un‑coded activity, assist the Clinical Coding Service Manager with audits and quality assurance, and supervise less experienced coding staff.
• Provide training support and feedback to colleagues.
