Job Description

The Special Education Program Director will provide leadership in managing and supervising a large and diverse Special Education Department. They must assist the Head of schools and his administrative team;


+ in ensuring that all students with disabilities have access to the general curriculum in the least restrictive and/or inclusionary setting,

+ in carrying out all local, state, and federal regulatory responsibilities required for maintaining departmental compliance, and

+ in promoting the growth and professional development of both regular and special education teachers and staff, with a special emphasis on the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) team.
