Boutique Hotel in Morningside, Durban is looking for a Sous Chef.
The Sous Chef is the second-in-command within the kitchen brigade and supports the Head Chef in all operational, culinary, staffing and administrative functions. The Sous Chef is responsible for maintaining food quality, supervising kitchen operations, ensuring hygiene compliance, controlling costs and leading the kitchen team during service.
Duties:
Supervise daily kitchen operations and service flow
Ensure all dishes meet hotel presentation and taste standards
Assist in menu planning, recipe development and costing
