**Job Summary and Qualifications**

The Sonographer II performs diagnostic testing on both inpatient and outpatient basis to include 2 D/M- Mode to cardiac Doppler, stress echo, contrast echo’s, cardiac stress testing, TEE’s, and ECG’s.

+ **Recognizes symptoms of cardiac arrest, respiratory distress and/or other impending crisis and initiates the necessary emergency response.**
+ **Communicates with physicians and accepts verbal orders.**
+ **Set up and performs all types of cardiac ultrasound and nuclear cardiology studies.**
+ **Performs necessary measurements and calculations related to the result of the Echocardiogram.**
