The Pricing Systems Engineering team powers one of the most critical parts of how Wayfair determines price at scale: calculating accurate, timely, and explainable retail prices across both B2C and B2B channels. We build and operate the systems that turn a wide range of pricing inputs—including cost, revenue, and competitive market signals—into production pricing decisions across the catalog. These systems process large volumes of data and support the complex calculation workflows that shape profitability, revenue, and price perception across the business.

Our team owns the full lifecycle of these pricing capabilities—input transformation/ validation, calculation logic, backend service development, performance optimization, and operational reliability.
