We're seeking a Software Engineer for a

12 month contract position

with a company based in Mississauga, very close to the airport.

This contract will very likely extend or potentially turn into a permanent position.

***This is an in-office position, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and debug C++ multi-threaded Windows applications

Develop and support the company’s POS application

Document each phase of the project lifecycle and meet defined milestones

Balance work priorities between new development, support, and bug fixing

Contribute to Linux-based development as required

Work with Jira, Git, Confluence, and database systems

Adhere to software security best practices, including encryption standards

Apply knowledge of AI systems and their practical use cases
