At ING we are looking for a Software Backend Engineer. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing and delivering backend services, while collaborating with the cross-functional squad to ensure functionality, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test backend components to meet functional, quality and performance requirements.
• Deliver production-ready software, including documentation and parameters that support achievement of goals.
• Support Production by analyzing and fixing bugs; contribute to improving technical discipline by collaborating across technical chapters.
• As an expert in the backend area, contribute value to the technical layer while considering the rest of the stack as part of the Squad responsibilities.
• Maintain responsibility across coding, stories refinement, environments management, release and monitoring.
