SPOA acts as the first point of contact, receiving requests for information, advice and assistance to support children and families and to investigate safeguarding concerns. SPOA brings key professionals together to facilitate early information sharing, collating information from different agencies to inform interventions and achieve the best outcomes for children.

Social Workers in SPOA need excellent communication skills, relevant experience, and a drive and passion for supporting families and improving outcomes for children. You will be expected to respond to the needs of children and their families within statutory guidelines, policies and standards, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is paramount.
