**The UW Medical Center-Montlake Outpatient Oncology Department** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Social Work Assistant.**

**WORK SCHEDULE**

+ Full-Time / 40 hours per week
+ Day Shifts
+ This is a hybrid position - 3 Days a week (M, T, F) on-site Montlake Main Hospital; 2 Days a week (W, Th) remote

**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

+ As a member of the Ambulatory Oncology Team, the Social Work Assistant position provides clinical and administrative support to a team of outpatient oncology social workers.
+ Assist with case management, resources, and referrals to internal and external community services based on patient needs.
+ Ideal candidates have experience working in a medical setting, demonstrate strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, oral and written communication, and computer proficiency. Must work well with a variety of persons and teams and possess excellent customer service skills.
