Position Summary

SOC 100: Introduction to Sociology. This course introduces students to basic sociological concepts, debates, and modes of analysis. Through discussion of issues such as the cultural development of humans, the socialization process and the structures of global society, students will be introduced to the distinctive approach of sociology.

Position Requirements

• Hold a MA in Sociology
• A record of effective teaching at the post‑secondary level
• Have experience managing classroom and online technologies used by the University of Regina, including UR Courses (Moodle)
