The Training and Competency Development Division (TCD) is MHA’s staff authority for major and cross‑cutting Training and Learning (T&L) issues and ensures that training policies and plans are progressive and future‑proofed. It is responsible for charting the overall strategic direction for Home Team (HT) training policies, resource development and training transformation. This includes driving and coordinating T&L capability development such as fitness training resources within the HT, ensuring resource optimisation and synergy in T&L efforts across the Home Team Departments (HTDs) and Agencies.
