**Job Title: SMT Rework Technician / SMT Operator**

**Job Description**

The SMT Rework Technician performs precise surface mount technology (SMT) rework, repair, and modification of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) used in navigation aids, surveillance radios, and other electronic products. This role uses specialized soldering, desoldering, and inspection equipment to remove, replace, and repair electronic components while strictly following IPC standards, engineering specifications, and internal quality requirements.

**Responsibilities**

+ Prepare and maintain a clean, well-lit, and ESD-safe workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are calibrated, functioning properly, and personal protective equipment is in use.
+ Review Bills of Material (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), work instructions, and repair documentation before starting rework activities.
