Site Operative (Caretaker)

We welcome applications for this support post to commence as soon as possible. For an outstanding candidate the college will consider a 'golden hello' payment of up to 10% of the annual salary.

The Role

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• To undertake minor maintenance repairs and any requests made via the online helpdesk ticket system
• Undertake keyholding and the security of all buildings
• Undertake safety inspections/testings including, but not limited to, the minibus, emergency lighting, legionella flushing and temperature checks, fire alarm, fire extinguishers, fire doors and exits.
• Accept receipt of all deliveries and distribute accordingly ensuring that items have been delivered to the correct person/department
• To ensure sufficient stock levels for equipment and materials
