The Shop Manager leads all shop and field service operations for the branch, with overall responsibility for service performance, profitability, employee development, customer satisfaction, and safety.
Responsibilities
Lead daily service operations with accountability for profitability, quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction
Schedule and coordinate shop work to meet time and cost targets
Oversee work orders, estimates/quotes, and work‑in‑process
Communicate with customers, technicians, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth operations
Coach, train, and develop leadmen and technicians
Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed
Control shop expenses and meet profit and productivity goals
Promote a safe, organized work environment and meet all safety standards
Support hiring, performance management, and employee development
