Requirements Matric or RPL. Relevant degree in Supply Chain or Logistics. 6-month certificate in clearing and forwarding. Knowledge: Importation logistics. Import and customs regulations. ACC PAC. MS Office (advance excel). Blue link or Investec Import solutions would be advantageous. Import Tracking Software. Advanced Arithmetic. Product Knowledge. Responsibilities Calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight, and volume of the merchandise to be imported from foreign destinations. Monitor and complete paperwork and monetary transactions associated with international imports. Receive stock onto ACC PAC. Ensure all pricing structures are updated according to new exchange rates. Ensure that the shipment adheres to customs regulations and coordinate with shipping and customs agents for clearance on delivery. Deal with quotes from prospective shippers.
