Position Overview
The Support Service Worker is responsible to provide services to patients, staff and community partners of Selkirk Mental Health Centre including a clean environment, food service, porter/laundry services, supply replenishment, equipment maintenance, transportation and security.
Experience
- Experience working in housekeeping and food service in a healthcare or directly related environment is an asset.
- Experience in customer service.
- Experience in a housekeeping/cleaning environment.
- Experience in a food handling setting (knowledge of food preparation and safety).
- Experience in pick-up/delivery.
Education
- Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba Standards, required.
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license is desired.
