The Service Specialist is responsible for providing assistance to customers throughout the General Sales area, ensuring a superior shopping experience. Duties include handling customer issues and supervising the front end while on duty. Front-end responsibilities involve monitoring cashier coverage, maintaining front-end supplies, replenishing change float, and answering calls for customer assistance at checkout.
This role requires a strong customer service focus, the ability to work in a fast paced environment, and to remain professional, courteous, and helpful. Key skills include excellent communication, strong interpersonal, motivational, delegation and follow-up abilities, stress management, and the capacity to train and monitor others. Supervisory experience is an asset.
