Position Overview
Job Description- Diagnose and resolve faults across submarine cable systems, including optical line terminals and power feed equipment, to restore service within agreed timelines.
- Carry out routine maintenance and health checks on cables and associated transmission gear.
- Interpret cable fault data and pinpoint fault locations along the cable route.
- Coordinate with cable repair vessels and marine teams during fault localisation and recovery operations.
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of terminal station equipment and power feeding systems.
- Monitor network performance and escalate anomalies promptly.
- Compile detailed technical reports, test records, and as-built documentation for each maintenance or repair activity.
