Senior Utility Design Engineer – Overview

As a member of the Municipal Infrastructure team within the Civil Engineering, Design and Project Management Division for Canada, you will work in a collaborative, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, supporting the delivery of major Transit Rail and civil infrastructure projects.

Your Role

• Lead the design and development of municipal utility systems including watermain, sanitary, stormwater, and associated infrastructure.
• Oversee preparation and review of engineering drawings, plans, profiles, specifications, and reports.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, technologists, and designers.
• Manage utility coordination, including stakeholder engagement, clash detection, and conflict resolution.
