AtkinsRéalis' Traffic Control Systems (TCS) team works across the transport sector helping clients navigate a rapidly changing world, linking current Traffic Signals and Intelligent Transport Systems with future‑focused technology opportunities. The team undertakes a variety of design, implementation, consultancy and advisory projects for UK and international clients, including the Department for Transport, National Highways, and local authorities.

The team sits within the Intelligent Mobility and Smart Technology (IMST) practice, part of AtkinsRéalis' UK Transportation business. IMST comprises staff from a range of disciplines and includes approximately 20 TCS staff providing market‑leading capability in traffic signals, Urban Traffic Control (UTC) and operations.
