Position Overview
Summary The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking Attorney-Advisers (Senior Special Counsel). As a Senior Special Counsel, you will provide expert legal counsel to the CIO and senior agency management in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing technology landscape as the agency addresses recently enacted legislation, Executive Orders, and OMB Directives. Responsibilities In this role as a Senior Special Counsel, you will be responsible for: Advising and working closely with the CIO and other Senior Advisors on OIT-related legal, compliance, governance, risk, and audit matters; Providing legal advice on IT-related legislation, Executive Orders, OMB Memoranda, and other governmental policy directives, including assessing any potential impact on agency systems; Working with the OIG for all IT, IT supply chain, and vendor risk management audit matters; Playing a leading role in OIT internal compliance self-assessments; Coordinating with offices on OIT-related legal issues;...
