Position Overview
Implement and test instrument automation integrations following defined specifications and communication standards.Configure connectivity using OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, REST APIs, or other common industrial protocols.Build automation demos, prototypes, and pilot systems involving instruments, robotics, sensors, and digital tools.Develop reusable scripts, templates, and configuration packages that support consistent automation integration across product lines.Collaborate with internal automation teams (, Spinnaker, AMRs, FastTrak) to assemble and validate end-to-end automated workflows.Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues and document repeatable processes for broader engineering use.Support sales, field teams, and applications engineers by preparing demo systems and technical enablement materials.Provide input on how instruments could be easier to automate
