Position Overview
In support of the U.S. Navy’s PEO IWS-X initiative, the Senior Security Engineer designs, implements, and tests security systems that protect Critical Program Information (CPI).
The role emphasizes hardware/software security, reverse engineering, and program protection across the system development lifecycle.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Design, implement, and test security measures to protect CPI.
+ Plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities and test events.
+ Develop AT Plans, PPPs, Security Classification Guides, and related technical documentation.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure security measures are integrated across the SDLC.
+ Assess program risks and develop mitigation strategies.
**Qualifications** :
+ Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, liberal arts, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
+ A certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required.
