Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
Assisting the Head of Reserving to perform the quarterly reserving for lines of business for the Syndicates under managementUnderstand and help develop Reserving MI that can be used across the business to understand key trendsAssess performance and highlight areas of concern and potential areas of remediationCalculate and review reserve uncertainty/ranges and assist in communicating this to relevant stakeholdersQualifications required:
Strong academic background: Numerate/Statistical degree and making good progress with Actuarial examsExperience required:
Insurance/Commercial Knowledge: Some experience across particular products and/or lines of business written at Beat and some knowledge of Lloyd’s market is desirableIT Skills: Competent user of MS Excel; VBA, Access, PowerBI and general coding skills desirable
