Senior Research Fellow (Biomedical Engineering)

The Department of Engineering Science intends to appoint a full time Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in Biomedical Engineering, from 1 October 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter. This is a fixed-term academic post, until 31 August 2032, based at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (OX3 7LD). There is a procedure to apply for title of Associate Professor (under the MPLS Procedure for Conferment of Title) and to apply for the title of Full Professor in due course.

This appointment will strengthen the Department’s research in Biomedical Engineering and strengthen the research of the Biomedical Ultrasonics, Biotherapy and Biopharmaceuticals Laboratory (BUBBL).
