About the National Trust of Western Australia

The National Trust of Western Australia is the States leading independent organisation dedicated to conserving, interpreting, and celebrating Western Australias natural, Aboriginal and historic heritage. For more than 60 years, the Trust has worked with communities, landholders, Traditional Owners, government and partners to protect the places, landscapes and stories that shape Western Australia.

Our work spans the stewardship of significant heritage places, delivery of conservation and education programs, and longterm protection of natural and cultural landscapes through a Private Land Conservation Covenant program. With more than 200 registered covenants across the State, the Trust plays a vital role in safeguarding biodiversity, supporting private land conservation, and strengthening community-led custodianship.
