Senior Occupational Therapist

Permanent, full‑time position. Remuneration is per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines. This role is based at Health New Zealand (Te Whatu Ora) and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based Occupational Therapy interventions for children with developmental difficulties or disabilities.
• Work closely with families, taking a whaanau‑centered approach to therapy.
• Manage complex cases using advanced clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
• Provide mentorship and clinical leadership within the team.
• Support service development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
