Responsibilities

• Design and build robust observability infrastructure with a focus on scalability, high availability, and performance of core telemetry platforms.
• Manage large‑scale data pipelines and storage, ensuring reliable ingestion, processing, and querying of logs, metrics, and traces using OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Fluentbit, and the Victoria ecosystem.
• Drive creation of self‑service capabilities, enabling engineering teams and Farfetch Business Units to autonomously analyze, detect, and investigate telemetry data.
• Ensure reliability and performance of the internal observability stack, maintaining robustness of systems such as Grafana and various exporters during high‑traffic events.
