Senior IT Network & Infrastructure Engineer ??
West Wales (office-based, with occasional cover at a nearby secondary site) ??
£48,000 per annum (some flexibility for the right candidate) What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of the organisation's network and infrastructure across a busy on-site environment
- Design, implement and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN and VPN solutions
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers
- Lead network upgrades, migrations and infrastructure improvement projects
- Deliver secure remote access (VPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS, SSH)
- Drive network security best practice including firewall rules, IDS/IPS, encryption and PKI
- Monitor network performance, capacity and security and troubleshoot complex issues
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network services
- Manage patching, configuration backups and documentation
