This senior role leads the permitting and approvals workstreams for Ontario metal mining projects, focusing on water management and water quality, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and approvals for operating and proposed metal mines in Ontario, with primary accountability for water management and water quality components.
• Direct the preparation of permit and approval applications and supporting technical documentation, including environmental management and monitoring plans.
• Review project plans and technical studies to identify approvals risks, data gaps, and mitigation or monitoring requirements related to surface water and groundwater.
