Position Overview
Job Description: - Lead fire safety and compliance design for multidisciplinary building projects
- Deliver rational fire designs, including smoke evacuation, stair pressurisation, and sprinkler systems
- Manage medium to large projects independently or within a broader design team
- Represent projects in client, design, and site meetings
- Oversee tender documentation, project administration, and technical outputs
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Skills & Experience: - Minimum 10+ years experience in fire engineering within building services
- Strong expertise in SANS fire design standards and rational fire safety design
- In-depth experience in sprinkler systems, smoke control, and fire protection design
